 Chinese Tai Chi Embraces Civilization: Global Tai Chi Large-Scale Series Project Press Conference Concludes Successfully

       以太极文脉联通世界，以和合智慧共筑文明。3月21日"中华太极拥抱文明"全球太极大型系列工程新闻发布会隆重举行，本次发布会汇聚国内外太极文化传承人、文化领域专家学者、国际文化交流机构代表及主流媒体，正式启动面向全球的太极文化传承与传播大型系列工程，以中华太极智慧搭建文明互鉴桥梁，推动东方优秀传统文化走向世界舞台。

       Connecting the world through the cultural lineage of Tai Chi and building civilization with the wisdom of harmony and coexistence, the press conference for the "Chinese Tai Chi Embraces Civilization" Global Tai Chi Large-Scale Series Project was grandly held on March 21st. The event brought together Tai Chi cultural inheritors, experts and scholars in the cultural field, representatives of international cultural exchange institutions, and mainstream media from home and abroad. It officially launched a large-scale series project for the inheritance and dissemination of Tai Chi culture globally, aiming to build a bridge for mutual learning among civilizations with Chinese Tai Chi wisdom and promote the excellent traditional culture of the East to the world stage.

       发布会上，创始人王佑聖主席发表主旨致辞，深刻阐释"中华太极拥抱文明"的核心内涵：太极文化承载着天人合一、刚柔并济、和合共生的东方哲学，是中华优秀传统文化的璀璨瑰宝，更是跨越国界、契合全人类共同价值的文化财富。同时指出：在国际太極日弘扬中华太極，拥抱文明是文化复兴的软实力！本次大型系列工程的启动，恰逢国际太极拳日，设立的时代契机，旨在以系统化、规模化、国际化的项目矩阵，打破文化传播边界，让太极文化从非遗技艺升华为全球共享的健康理念与文明共识。

       At the press conference, Founder and Chairman Wang Yousheng delivered a keynote speech, profoundly elaborating on the core connotation of "Chinese Tai Chi Embraces Civilization": Tai Chi culture carries the Eastern philosophy of harmony between heaven and humanity, the interplay of firmness and gentleness, and harmonious coexistence. It is a brilliant gem of China's excellent traditional culture and a cultural treasure that transcends national borders and aligns with the common values of all humanity. He also pointed out that promoting Chinese Tai Chi on World Tai Chi Day and embracing civilization represents the soft power of cultural rejuvenation. The launch of this large-scale series project coincides with the established opportunity of World Tai Chi Day, aiming to break down the boundaries of cultural dissemination through a systematic, large-scale, and international project matrix, elevating Tai Chi culture from intangible cultural heritage skills to a globally shared health concept and consensus of civilization.

       组委会副主席郭湘嵘表示:本次全球太极大型系列工程将构建"文化传承、国际传播、全民普及、产业融合"四位一体的实施体系，规划推出多项重磅核心项目：搭建全球太极传承人交流平台，邀请海内外非遗传承人、武术名家开展常态化展演与教学研讨，守护太极技艺正统传承；启动全球百城太极联动展演活动，覆盖多国重点城市，以沉浸式太极展演传递东方美学；打造标准化太极健康普及体系，结合现代健康理念，推出适配全年龄段的太极习练课程，赋能全民健康事业；推动太极文化与数字科技、文旅产业深度融合，开发国际化文创产品、线上传播矩阵，让太极文化以年轻化、国际化的表达触达全球受众。

       Guo Xiangrong, Vice Chairman of the Organizing Committee, stated that this Global Tai Chi Large-Scale Series Project will establish an implementation system integrating "cultural inheritance, international communication, public普及, and industrial integration." The plan includes launching several key core projects: building a global platform for Tai Chi inheritors to facilitate regular performances and teaching seminars with intangible cultural heritage inheritors and martial arts masters from home and abroad, safeguarding the authentic传承 of Tai Chi skills; launching the Global 100 Cities Tai Chi Linkage Performance, covering major cities in multiple countries to convey Eastern aesthetics through immersive Tai Chi demonstrations; creating a standardized Tai Chi health promotion system, combining modern health concepts to introduce Tai Chi practice courses suitable for all ages, empowering the cause of public health; and promoting the deep integration of Tai Chi culture with digital technology and the cultural tourism industry, developing international cultural and creative products and online communication matrices to reach global audiences with a youthful and international expression.

       与会专家学者围绕太极文化的当代价值与全球传播路径展开深度研讨，一致认为，太极文化所蕴含的和谐理念，与人类命运共同体的时代主张高度契合。组委会副主席武献春表示:本次系列工程以文化为纽带、以交流为桥梁，既是对中华非遗文化的守正创新，更是推动不同文明交流对话、增进各国人民情感联结的生动实践，将为世界文明交流互鉴注入持久动力。

       Experts and scholars at the meeting engaged in in-depth discussions on the contemporary value of Tai Chi culture and its global dissemination pathways, unanimously agreeing that the concept of harmony inherent in Tai Chi culture aligns closely with the contemporary vision of a community with a shared future for mankind. Wu Xianchun, Vice Chairman of the Organizing Committee, stated that this series project, using culture as a bond and exchange as a bridge, represents both the preservation and innovation of Chinese intangible cultural heritage and a vivid practice of promoting dialogue among different civilizations and enhancing emotional connections among people of all countries. It will inject lasting momentum into the exchange and mutual learning of world civilizations.

       现场举行了庄重的工程启动仪式，多家国际文化交流机构、合作单位达成战略合作共识，共同签署全球太极文化传播合作倡议，凝聚多方力量，协同推进系列工程落地见效，助力太极文化在全球范围内焕发新的生机与活力。

       A solemn project launch ceremony was held on site. Multiple international cultural exchange institutions and partner organizations reached a strategic cooperation consensus and jointly signed the Global Tai Chi Culture Communication Cooperation Initiative, pooling efforts from various sides to collaboratively advance the implementation and effectiveness of the series project, helping Tai Chi culture radiate new vitality and vigor on a global scale.

       仪式现场，12岁的太极小将吴依诺带来了精彩的太极展演，直观展现了太极文化的独特魅力与少年传承力量。吴依诺功底深厚、技艺精湛，曾斩获多项重量级荣誉：2023年，她在中小学生武术比赛中勇夺太极拳项目第一名；2025年，于峨眉山第十届世界武术锦标赛中，她再创佳绩，斩获八卦掌、八卦剑双项冠军；同年，在全国太极拳精英赛公开赛上，她更是一举摘得一金一银，用实力诠释了太极文化的传承与新生。

       At the ceremony, 12-year-old young Tai Chi prodigy Wu Yinuo delivered a captivating Tai Chi performance, vividly showcasing the unique charm of Tai Chi culture and the power of youth inheritance. Wu Yinuo possesses profound skill and exquisite technique, having won numerous prestigious honors: in 2023, she secured first place in the Tai Chi category at the Primary and Secondary School Students Martial Arts Competition; in 2025, she achieved remarkable success again at the 10th World Wushu Championships in Mount Emei, winning double championships in Baguazhang (Eight-Trigram Palm) and Bagua Sword; in the same year, at the National Tai Chi Chuan Elite Open Competition, she won one gold and one silver medal, demonstrating the inheritance and renewal of Tai Chi culture through her strength.

       汉文化圣地武协常务副主席王凡修介绍:本次新闻发布会的成功举办，标志着"中华太极拥抱文明"全球太极大型系列工程正式迈入全面实施阶段。未来，工程将持续深耕太极文化传承与国际传播事业，以太极之韵联通五洲，以和合之心拥抱世界，让中华优秀传统文化滋养全球文明，书写文明交流互鉴的崭新篇章。

       Wang Fanxiu, Executive Vice Chairman of the Han Culture Holy Land Martial Arts Association, introduced that the successful holding of this press conference marks the official entry of the "Chinese Tai Chi Embraces Civilization" Global Tai Chi Large-Scale Series Project into its full implementation phase. In the future, the project will continue to deepen efforts in Tai Chi cultural inheritance and international communication, connecting the five continents with the rhythm of Tai Chi and embracing the world with a heart of harmony and coexistence.
